My camera was too damn big to fit in my clutch, so I borrowed some photos from www.bfreepaparazzi.smugmug.com…

I’ve been struggling with what kind of content I want to cover, so for now I’m going to cover more of my style and what I like. I was going to do random posts about trends, but I’m not a trend follower. Most of my beloved items are bought from resale shops or vintage. I felt it would be silly to waste time on such posts. So yeah….basically you’ll see what I like, who I like and where I like. Stay tuned…
The exhibit features the artwork of Kevin McCoy, Skip Jones and Jermaine Clark. I’d been looking forward to this exhibit since I learned about it almost a month ago. It was awesome to say the least. I was inspired by a couple pieces pictured below, and hopefully I’ll be viewing a few of them from my own couch at home.

While on my way to see Tef Poe <pictured above> at the Gramophone (who also has a brand new mixtape, War Machine, that you can download via www.irepstl.com), I caught a couple great visuals.

So I’ve been seeing all of these New Year’s resolutions floating about, and they’ve all got my wheels a-spinning. What are my resolutions? Then I quickly snapped out of it and remembered that I never do the whole resolution thing each year, so below are my non-resolutions or weaknesses if you will for 2011 and beyond.
You only live once.
After a full weekend of learning about the future (i.e. Tron Legacy, watching numerous documentaries and visiting the Science Center), or at least what the future can be, I was inspired to write about how technology has influenced my lifestyle.
According to Wikipedia, technology is the usage and knowledge of tools, techniques, crafts, systems or methods of organization, so when I say technology, I’m not talking about what usually comes to mind-computers, flat screen televisions, electronics, etc. I’m referring to methods that have been applied to life to ease living in general. Now, don’t get me wrong, electronics definitely make life easier, but they’re also made more for entertainment purposes or to speed up processes that can still be done the old fashioned way. But I’m going off into other tangents.
Breasts are important. They are biologically contructed to provide nutrients for babies, but our society has also come up with other uses for breasts that I care not to name. Because of those unmentioned uses, technology has stepped in and women can shape their breasts anyway they’d like. I happen to like to shape my breasts by using a bra which can definitely be constricting and uncomfortable at times. This is why a woman of my petite stature could and would love to go braless, but I’d rather not because it gets a tiddy bit nipply for me. I’d rather not look out the window and cut the glass at the same time, ya dig? Technology, as well as a little common sense, has helped shaped undergarments into what they are today.
Due to the application of technology, below are other important items that make my lifestyle eaisier. I wish I could list them all.
And lastly, technology was even applied to invent this. I guess this is the answer to my whole braless fantasy. Truthfully, this is kind of sexy, but that price isn’t sexy at all. This can’t be real.
